IN TRANSIT

Before it was possible for Ross Ryan to realise an exhibition in hamburg he wanted to gain first hand, personal experiences about the city.  Hamburg was portraied by Ryan with this in mind and thus his works generated attention especially amongst the locals who were interested in the way the character of their hometown was reflected. The atmosphere at the vernissage can be described as calm, relaxed but vibrant. Further projects and invividual thoughts on the location Gängeviertel and its history in relation to the works off Ross Ryan are also parts of the interview.
